Capt. Vern reminds me of the shrimp boats I used to go out on, sometimes for weeks at a time. One thing I remember vividly is the catch being dumped onto the deck after hours of work at sea.

A boat can look peaceful sitting on the water, but I can't look at one like this without remembering the work that goes on aboard it.
